The road closure on Denmark Street does not permit through cycling, even though Hawthorn Street now has protected cycle lanes. Access for pedestrians only.

Still plenty to do to connect up the replacement bridge across the M8 motorway between Townhead and Sighthill.

The ramp seen in #172741 leads users over a kerb when joining the Garscube Road cycleway.

The tie-in between the bottom of the new ramp down from the Forth and Clyde Canal to Garscube Road is poor. A kerb blocks the entrance to the ramp from Firhill Road and a ramp has been provided facing Firhill Road but this appears to be for ... [more]

The new ramp from Firhill Road and Garscube Road up to the Forth & Clyde Canal and the bridge to the Claypits nature reserve is now open. In addition to the ramp, there are steps available for pedestrians. Part of the Nextbike hire stati ... [more]

There is a lack of a dropped kerb to allow access to the canal towpath at the end of the car park at Firhill. A temporary ramp has been provided, but this is possibly related to the construction work on the bridge to the Claypits nature res ... [more]

Not a promising look for the Sighthill "cycling village". A toucan crossing with not even a bike's length between the kerb and the fence at the back of the footway.

  • Icon 172749 The pavement is very narrow and cars speed by making it feel dangerous. The current path is unsuitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs due to its width. Allowing better access would facilitate walking from the village to the Val Wyatt marina and down the footpath by Willow Lane.
  • Icon 172748 It is very overgrown throughout various times of the year and unlit.
  • Icon 172747 Visibility out of Nursery Lane is very poor for all types of traffic, and cars come around the corner of Carr Hill Road too fast - maybe the 20mph past the school should be extended?
  • Icon 172745 If no changes can be made to the roundabout as already suggested - there needs to be space to slow down and make a left-then-right turn on to Camilla St and up on to the raised walk way without risk to yourself (from buses behind you), cars coming out of the junction, or pedestrians.
  • Icon 172743 Constantly parked cars making the road very narrow, and on an especially steep part of the hill, making cycling particularly dangerous
  • Icon 172731 New recycled road planings surface on this byway - great new path for cyclists and runners/walkers. Should stop muddy puddle in middle of length
  • Icon 172730 New recycled road planings surface on this byway - great new path for cyclists and runners/walkers
  • Icon 172725 This is a Sustrans cycle route, but no dedicated cycle lane on a busy minor road
  • Icon 172715 Make Duisburg one way to then also make the seafront one way, that way you could actually have more parking on Duisburg if you want by being perpendicular, and you could introduce/improve wide formalised cycle lanes that are safer between the parked cars and traffic.
  • Icon 172686 The pavement at the top of Fore Street is far too narrow by the old church. People cannot pass eachother
  • Icon 172684 Safer cycling needed Pottery Road
  • Icon 172614 This is the end of a bus lane and opposite the entrance to a secondary school and also a bus stop it is meant to be a shared path for cycles but when people are waiting for the bus particularly after school there is no room for cycles and with it being the end of a bus lane and bus stop it can be extremely busy and cars cut across to go in to two lanes and turn on to Burnthouse lane the amount of cyclists who have been shouted at for using the pavement even though it is shared path is crazy. if the bus lane was extended to the bus stop and then a cycle path on the road to the traffic lights and a crossing at the bottom of Burnthouse lane rather than just across Topsham so that it's safer for cyclists and pedestrians trying to cross would make it at least a little safer
